If You Suffer an Amputation at Work, You are Entitled to Specific Benefits

 

Pennsylvania workers’ compensation law offers very specific benefits if you lose a limb, hand, fingers or toes in a work-related injury. While it is not always best to settle for specific benefits, it is important that you know your options. Here is a chart of the current number of weeks to which you are entitled for specific body parts when they are amputated or you are, for “all intents and purposes” unable to use a body part.
