James B. Mogul, an expert* in Pennsylvania workers’ compensation law, heads Lowenthal & Abrams, Injury Attorneys’ workers’ compensation department. Jim has a hands-on approach to each and every case the firm takes on. Jim became an attorney because he wanted to represent the downtrodden; his first job with Legal Aid in Atlantic City, New Jersey, helped him to fulfill this dream. After leaving Legal Aid, Jim had the opportunity to serve with the Fraternal Order of Police, which provided him with his first exposure to Workers’ Compensation law. After leaving the Fraternal Order of Police, Jim worked with a variety of law firms until he joined Lowenthal & Abrams, Injury Attorneys in 1999. In addition to focusing his practice on workers’ compensation, Jim also handles Social Security disability and personal injury cases.
A member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars since 1983, Jim is a member of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers’ Association and a frequent speaker on issues involving workers’ compensation. Jim obtained his undergraduate degree from Haverford College in 1979 and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law in 1983. He has been chosen several times by Main Line Today as a Top Lawyer in Workers Compensation Law.

Mogul is extremely focused on representing his clients, individuals who have been injured and need assistance obtaining workers’ compensation or those requiring assistance navigating the confusing maze of the social security disability system.
