The Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Act Explained

The government created the Workers’ Compensation Act to help manage financial rights for workers due to work related injuries. Its purpose is to protect both employees and employers by requiring insurance and setting out a specific agency to control the financial aspects; medical care, loss of wages, future inability to work, and etc., caused by injuries that occur on the job.
