How much does it cost to hire Lowenthal & Abrams to be your medical malpractice lawyers? The answer is nothing. People cannot afford to retain medical malpractice lawyers and pay us on an hourly basis, nor can they afford all the costs that go into a medical malpractice case.
We do each and every case, and we have never deviated from this, every case is on a contingent fee basis. Contingent means if we recover money for you we take a percentage of that. If we don’t recover money for you, which is rare, if we go to trial and we lose, which is rare, then the client owes us nothing for everything that we’ve done. They owe us nothing for our time, nothing for our costs, nothing for our expenses. So contingent means just that.
Our fee is based upon us getting you money either through a settlement or a court award. So the client has to shoulder nothing, has to pay nothing. And it makes sense if you think about it. You’ve already been victimized once. To have to then pay to have a lawyer get you compensation doesn’t make sense.
