You do have the right to see your own doctor if the employer’s doctor releases you, and that is because you cannot be denied medical treatment for the first 90 days. What the law says is that if your employer wishes to control your medical treatment for the first 90 days, then they must have a list of at least six different doctors that they provide to you.
