Should I bring my medical records when I attend the Insurance Company’s Independent Medical Examination (IME)?
There’s no obligation you have to do that [bring medical records.] All you’re doing by doing that is making the independent medical examination doctor’s job a lot easier by giving him everything he needs when he examines you. If the insurance company wants him to have films, and records, and reports they are very capable of doing getting them to him and you should let them do that. You should just present yourself.
